The whole Putney in Shanghai group has finally arrived!

It’s been a busy and exciting travel day. LJ got to the hotel in the morning, and he and Joanna headed off to the airport to pick up the rest of the group (with a large poster that got everyone’s attention). The first flight in was out of Newark and brought Anne, Dan, and Sam. Margy joined from London a little while later. And finally, the group flight from LA arrived, bringing Chapin, Chris, Mark, Parker, Rachel, both Sarahs, Stuart, and Ben.

After checking into the hotel, the group had dinner at 021 Shanghai Cai, a traditional Shanghainese restaurant on Nanjing Road. Some foods were familiar, most were completely foreign, and all were delicious.

It’s been a great first day and we’re excited to see what the rest of our time here brings. Stay tuned!
